Doctrinal Basis
- The divine inspiration and infallibility of Holy Scripture, as originally given, and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (2Ti 3:16, Jn 10:35)
- The unity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in the Godhead. (Mt 28:19, 2Co 13:14)
- The universal sinfulness and guilt of human nature since the Fall, rendering man subject to God’s wrath and condemnation. (Ro 3:23, Ro 6:23)
- Redemption from the guild, penalty and power of sin only through the shedding of the Blood in the sacrificial death (as our Substitute) of Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Son of God. (Ep 1:7)
- The physical resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and His Ascension into Heaven. (1Co 15:3-4, Ac 1:9)
- The mediation between God and man only through the Lord Jesus Christ. (1Ti 2:5)
- The necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit to make the death of Jesus Christ effective to the individual sinner, granting him repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ. (Jn 3:5, Tit 3:5)
- The indwelling and work of the Holy Spirit in the believer. (1Co 3:16, 2Th 2:13)
- The expectation of the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ac 1:11)
