Crossroads Camp 2010

Date: Friday, 5 March, 2010 - Saturday, 6 March, 2010
Venue: St Andrew's Village
Theme: (1) Globalisation & It's Impacts; (2) Faith at Work
Speakers: Mr S Dhanabalan & Mr Benjamin Phee

Crossroads is an annual FES Camp where undergraduates are invited to attend for a time of learning where real and pertinent issues that undergraduates contend with in the context of wanting to be an effective witness on campus and in society will be discussed.

Topics
For this year, two broad topics have been identified:
1. Globalisation & Its Impacts - specific issues under this topic include:
    - Living and interacting in multicultural environments

    - International migration (how might increased travel needs affect my faith & commitments to service)

    - Technology and its effects on communication and relationships


2. Faith at Work - specific issues under this topic include:
    - Working out the Kingdom (challenges to being an effective Christian witness
    -
Ethics (biblical principles as guides)

1. Mr S Dhanabalan
- Chairman: Temasek Holdings
- Former Minister for Trade & Industry, National Development, Foreign Affairs
- Member of Council of Presidential Advisors

2. Mr Benjamin Pwee
- Director of I-deo Asia Ltd
- Former Singapore Government Scholar & senior political diplomat in charge of Greater China

Dates: 5-6 March 2010 (Friday evening-Saturday)
Cost: 35 SGD
