The FOC 2005 committee is organising a followup event to FOC that’s not restricted to those who went for the camp: an ultimate frisbee extravanganza. It’ll take place at 5pm on 1 September (Thursday) at the big field next to the School of Computing. Dress light and bring lots of water!

The first FT of this academic year will be on 23 August (this Tuesday) at 5.59pm in LT16, which is in Bizad. Traditionally the first FT of each year features a message from the current exco chairperson, and this year is no different. Do join us for a time of worship, prayer and teaching.

The VCFWiki is now up, and replaces the old vcfnus.org website. The wiki, along with this newsblog and another upcoming blog, form the whole of the VCF site now. The idea is, of course, to hope to foster a greater sense of community involvement with the VCF site, but only time will tell how successful the site is in this regard.
The deadline for signing up for MEET is on 2 September, so if you’re planning to apply for MEET this year and haven’t submitted your forms yet, better hurry!
