A Christian’s Role In Society

Speaker: Mr Lyndon Cana.

Mr Cana is a lawyer by training and is currently a Filipino politician (councilor of City of Bacolod). In addition, he is a radio Bible Teacher and preaches often at conferences/camps. He teaches Christians how to impact society through living out God’s Word.

Lyndon’s life and testimony as a Christian in politics has been a great blessing to many people in his country.

The Singapore Race

This Singapore Race is basically a treasure hunt around Singapore, and as the international students run around, the group leaders will orientate them to Singapore. The organisation of the event is done by OSA. We merely have to provide groups leaders. A briefing of the game and route will be done on the morning of that day itself. This Singapore Race is similar to the PRC camp save that it is a one-day thing and it involves students from all over the world. This is an excellent opportunity for us to befriend international students.

OSA requires us to provide 12 groups leaders, failing which it will create problems for them as well as affect our working relationship with them.

Crossroads 2006

Crossroads hopes to prepare and equip, transit (enter and exit) communities, and to encourage peer accountability especially for VCFers who are entering a new phase of life after graduation.

The details are as follows:
Date: 20-22nd January 2006 (Meeting at 2.30pm at Changi Bus terminal; should end by 3pm on the 22nd)
Venue: Aloha Changi Resorts (Main meeting area - Chalet H)
Cost: $35 (Bring extra cash!)
Speakers: Tan Soo Inn (Grace@work); I’Ching (Ravi Zecharias ministry); Tim Liu (Marketplace Christian Network).

Registration is open to all. Walk in registration is highly discouraged due to administrative reasons.
