Heyoes!
Exciting things are coming up during the week of Valentine’s Day, where VCF, Campus Crusade for Christ and Navigators are co-hosting a Bazaar and Exhibition at the Central Forum!
On the 9th and 10th of February (Mon and Tues) there will be a bazaar at the Central Forum, as well as an exhibition on the 5 Love Languages and pointing people to the greatest love of all, our Lord Jesus Christ. There’s also a gospel concert (tentatively at LT27) on the 12th of Feburary (Thurs) which you can bring your friends to! ![]()
So first up and coming is this TUESDAY (20th Jan) is the Combined Prayer Night, where we come together to pray for this semester and that we can continue to show God’s Love throughout the semester not just during the Valentine Week
It’s also when we’d be praying to ask God in what capacity we’d be called to serve in these few weeks, whether in praying for it, helping to man the exhibitions, ushering during the gospel concert…
So… details for Prayer Night as follows:
Date: 20th Jan 6.30pm (SHARP!)
Venue: LT26

The Social Actions Committee will be having our next Seminar/Dicussion Group on “Humanitarian Organizations and the Gospel“. As you would know, humanitarian organizations have been at the fore front of directly impacting the world and society. Countless people who have been marginalized, mistreated, malnourished and suffering in the world have benefited from their efforts. But what differentiates the secular NGO and the Christian NGO? Is there a difference in the first place or a need to be different? Come join us and be aware of the issues that will help us to understand God’s work through humanitarian organizations better in proclaiming the gospel and being socially relevant today. The details are as follows:

In-Fusion is a two-day international fiesta that aims to bring together and showcase the colourful diversity of the NUS Community.
You may have come across a number of classmates from Vietnam, China, America, India, France or even all the way from Finland. But do you know that currently, NUS has a total of about 9,000 international students from over 80 countries? VCF is also involved in this project through the showcase of local Perankan culture in a booth at the Central Forum. But there will also be international cultural performances, activities and bazaars as well.
Some come see for yourself what we mean when we say “Missions at our Doorstep”.
