We are a group of VCFers who seek to cultivate a love for God’s word and its proper handling among the memvers in VCF. We are also the people who are involved in writing IBS for the VCF CG curriculum each year. This means that the Bible studies you do in your CGs are written by us...

Apart from writing IBS, we also hope to form and train a group of VCFers who are capable of teaching others (eg. CG leaders) the inductive Bible Study methods, how to lead an IBS session, etc. Training includes learning how to do IBS, how to write Bible Study questions, how to refer and use resource materials (eg. commentaries), and so on. We also try to handle VCFers’ queries about their Bible studies – anything from theology to the answers to their IBS questions!

The Swordfighters is a ministry in VCF that exposes its people to serious Bible study aimed at enhancing one’s understanding and knowledge of the Bible. It offers ample opportunities for people to study the Bible for all its worth – learning how to study the Word and applying it in their daily lives effectively. Through the weekly Bible study sessions, this ministry also helps its members to deepen their passion for God’s Word and cultivate a discipline to study the Word diligently. It is a blessing and encouragement to gather together with like-minded people to challenge and spur each other on each week. We hope you can join us!
